Championship Play-off Contenders - Bristol City
Whatever happens to Bristol City in the play-offs, it’s been a fantastic campaign by Gary Johnson’s men following promotion from League One. They’ve been among the front-runners all season, but just two wins in their last 11 matches does suggest that they may have run out of steam. What Johnson has achieved with a small squad and limited budget has to be applauded and, although it looks as if their best hope of promotion may have gone, it would be a mistake to rule them out given both their capacity to exceed expectations and the ability of players such as Michael McIndoe, Lee Trundle, Marvin Elliott and Nick Carle.
