Bookmark and Share

Scott Johnson was the top player in round 12, with The Ugly Ducklings picking up 74 points based on solid all round scoring topped up with John Terry (15 points) and Cesc Fabregas (13 doubled to 26). Mohammed Al-Dalk was second on 68 largely thanks to Fabregas, but also van Persie (7), Etherington (8), Dunn (7) and Dempsey (7) kept the score high. Johann Liebenberg was third on 66 and moved up to 27th overall once again thanks to Fabregas, with Lampard (6), Dunn (7), van Persie (7) and Adebayor (5) weighing in.

TOP FIVE (ROUND 12)
74 Scott Johnson (The Ugly Ducklings)
68 Mohammed Al-Dalk (Diablos Rojos)
66 Johann Liebenberg (Pboys)
65 Paul O'Meara (DBoy Digglers)
64 Ta pir (Al-Attiyah)

There is a new entrant in the top five of the Squarefootball Fantasy League after week 12, with Ta pir's team Al-Attiyah moving into fifth displacing Richard Armstrong's Ashbee FC.

TOP FIVE (OVERALL)
729 Jeff Gold (Athletico Halfwit)

709 The Joker (Gotham City)
708 Jamie Pizzey (Atletico Pizoids)
686 Ta pir (Al-Attiyah)

Squarefootball title is currently ranked 480 out of 185,703 leagues on the Premier League Fantasy game - which makes it one of the toughest 0.3% of leagues registered.

Finally, how did I get on (I can hear you mumbling, dear reader), the answer is badly. After being the top player last week, this week I slumped to 38 points - which was below 1,400,000 other players. Only Fabregas (13) and Lampard (6 doubled to 12), Hunt (5) and Dindane (4) picked up more than 2 points and Cahill (-1) and Ab Faye (-2) actually cost me points. Going into the weekend, a bit like a lot of teams I will be struggling to pick 11 players with Turner, Ab Faye, Lampard, Bassong and Drogba injured or doubtful and Foster out of favour - but with only 2 substitutes to play with its going to be a tough choice that will have to include at least one defender.

Any advice will be appreciated!
