The Daily Mirror report that Wolves would like to sign Jamie O'Hara currently at Spurs after his loan to Portsmouth was revoked - but Fifa permission will be required. At least Pompey won't have him! The Mirror also believe that Manchester City 'super spy' (?!) Jim Cassell is wanted by Tottenham. For reasons of national security I can't say why.

Mooted moved for forwards include Louis Saha from Everton (Daily Mail) although there is competition from Liverpool and Arsenal (as well as some reluctance at Everton) and Benfica forward Javier Saviola whose club have turned down a £5m Spurs bid for "sporting reasons".

The Guardian report that Tottenham have agreed personal terms with Internacional's 20-year-old midfielder Sandro and will sign him for £6m.

The Daily Mirror reports that Brazil midfielder Sandro has claimed his £6m move to Tottenham is a "dream come true" - Sandro may stay in South America for the Copa Libertadores campaign.
