Arsenal vs Liverpool: Season defining game?
This game comes at a crucial time for third placed Arsenal and fourth placed Liverpool. Both sides seem out of the title race, but Arsenal are hitting a bad patch at a rough time with the four teams directly below them steadily picking up points - a Liverpool win would move them to a couple of points behind the Gunners, and Villa, Spurs and Man City are not too far away either. Arsenal can afford to draw this, but another defeat could well signal a downward spiral that may cast Arsenal out of the top four. A draw would be no disaster for Liverpool - but they have the players to again make this a rough and tough examination for Arsenal.
