Bolton v Liverpool: Can Bolton spring a shock against Liverpool?
Bolton Wanderers have lost their last 10 meetings with Liverpool and their awful home form this season suggests this will be another defeat for Owen Coyle's side.
Liverpool were frustrated at home last weekend when Stoke City left Anfield with a point and Kenny Dalglish will be looking for a positive response from his tropps this evening.
Bolton's last success over Liverpool came in September 2006 when the late great Gary Speed and Ivan Campo scored in a 2-0 home win. They start the day second bottom but a shock win here could shoot them out of the drop zone. However, that does seem remote. But Liverpool's away form has not been that great in recent months. Since beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in November they have only recorded one league win - against Villa.
Unfortunately, Bolton's home form has been woeful and their 5-0 revenge mission on last season's FA Cup finalists Stoke City in November remains their only home win of the season.
Liverpool are clear favourites for the points here.
Bolton v Liverpool; Kick Off 5.30pm January 21 2012
