Predict the Premier League: Stoke remain the team to beat

No team ever wins silverware in January, but Stoke City's Phil Eccleston certainly has one hand on our Predict the Premier League trophy.

The passionate Potter is now 23 points clear of his nearest rival, Manchester United's Peter Lee, and shows no sign of buckling under the pressure. His eight-point haul may not have been the best of the week, but it has been enough to see him maintain his lead at the top.

Teams from the capital currently occupy the bottom three positions. Arsenal remain at the bottom but Chelsea and QPR, who face each other in the FA Cup Fourth Round, are in real danger. However, alarm bells are also ringing at Liverpool as Mark Williams has made an dramatic slide down the table.
