Newcastle United v Bolton Wanderers: Will Pardew's Mags make it five out of five?

Bookmark and Share

Newcastle kept up the pressure on Chelsea and Tottenham at the weekend by seeing off Swansea City while Bolton missed out on the opportunity to put clear distance between themselves and the bottom three by losing at home to Fulham. Can the Mags make it five wins on the bounce or will the Wanderers have an egg-stra special Easter treat?

Alan Pardew's men are on fire right now and Papiss Cisse has been a sensation. Nine goals in eight games is a phenomenal record and has taken the burden off his fellow countryman Demba Ba. If Cisse can remain hot in front of goal, the Mags have every chance of muscling in on the top four.

Bolton's defeat to Fulham was their first in four outings but fortunately Wigan, Blackburn and Manchester United all suffered the same fate. The Trotters spanked Newcastle 5-1 at the Reebok last season but they haven't won at St James's Park for six years. Will this be the day that run comes to an end? Our pundits don't think so.
