Chelsea v Blackburn Rovers: Will Chelsea go goal crazy on the final day?

Bookmark and Share

Chelsea's top four hopes were smashed by Liverpool at Anfield in midweek but the Blues still have a chance of playing in the Champions League next season. All they have to do is beat Bayern Munich on their own patch next Saturday night. Easy!

The Blues' warm up for the biggest game in their history with a relatively straight forward home game against already relegated Blackburn Rovers. The visitors' fate was sealed following Wigan's late winner at Ewood Park on Monday night. But can Steve Kean's men bow out of the top flight with victory at the Bridge? They have nothing to lose. Every man and his dog believes Blackburn will leave the capital with a red face and a beating to rival no other. But can Blackburn upset the odds like they did at Old Trafford on New Year's Eve? It's unlikely.

Blackburn haven't registered at Stamford Bridge since going down 4-2 in 2005 and haven't won there for nine years. To be honest, there's not a lot of love around for the visitors to change that stat on Sunday.

Chelsea v Blackburn Rovers; Kick Off 3pm May 13 2012
