Fulham v Norwich City: Can Hughton end the Canaries' hell at the Cottage?

Bookmark and Share

Fulham v Norwich

You have to go back to 1986 for the last time Norwich City managed to beat Fulham in the league, home or away, so it should be easy to predict the winner in this one.

The Cottagers haven’t lost an opening day fixture since Hull City stunned them at the KC Stadium in 2008 and I can’t see the Canaries upsetting the odds here, especially as they haven’t won on the opening day since thrashing Grimsby in 2002.

Chris Hughton will be looking to get off to a flying start, but I believe Martin Jol’s men will clip the visitor’s wings.

Panel Verdict

It looks like it will be a winning start for the Cottagers.
