QPR v Swansea City: Can the Rs ruin Laudrup's Premier League debut?

QPR v Swansea

QPR manager Mark Hughes has been like a child in a sweet shop this summer, bringing a number of tasty players to Loftus Road in an attempt to avoid another relegation battle. But will those signings really be sweet or will they leave a sour taste in the mouth?

The R’s were smashed 4-0 by Bolton on the opening day of last season but it was the Trotters who eventually slipped through the trap door. Hughes managed to turn Loftus Road into a fortress over the final few weeks of the season and he will be hoping that remains the case going into the new campaign.

Michael Laudrup is now in charge of the Swans and despite losing Rodgers and Joe Allen, everyone is hoping they remain one of the best attacking sides to watch. Swansea City have never won at Loftus Road, but can Laudrup get his Swans’ career off to a flyer? Our pundits are not convinced.

QPR v Swansea City; Kick Off 3pm August 18 2012
