Newcastle United v Norwich City: Hughton targets happy return to Tyneside

Newcastle v norwich 2012

Norwich City haven't won at St James' Park for 24 years but will former Newcastle boss Chris Hughton rewrite that stat this afternoon when the Canaries visit the Tyneside?

After an awful start to the season the visitors have improved with three draws against QPR, Spurs and West Ham United. Hughton has got them back to basics and doing the simple things first.

Newcastle United on the other hand haven't won since the opening day of the season when they beat Spurs 2-1. Chelsea beat them 2-0, followed by draws with Villa and Everton. Alan Pardew will be looking to get back to winning ways today.

The hosts have bossed this fixture in the Premier League, running out 1-0 winners last season thanks to Papiss Demba Cisse, but can the Canaries seal their first win of the season at Hughton's old stomping ground? Our pundits are not convinced.
