Norwich City v Liverpool: First league win of the season up for grabs

Bookmark and Share

Norwich v Liverpool

Both Norwich City and Liverpool head into this weekend's clash still looking to secure their first league win of the season and despite losing to fierce rivals Manchester United last weekend Liverpool start the game as favourites.

Brendan Rodgers' men safely defended their Capital One crown in midweek away to West Bromwich Albion and the former Swansea boss will be hoping that victory can spur them on in the league. Liverpool haven't lost at Carrow Road in their last three visits, including last season's 3-0 win thanks to a sensational Luis Suarez brace.

Norwich are playing well but they are struggling for goals. Only two efforts have hit the back of the net so far this season - the fewest in the top flight. However, with Agger and Kelly out for the Reds through injury and Pepe Reina yet to keep a clean sheet in the league this season, the omens are good for the Canaries.

Liverpool's last defeat here came in May 1993 thanks to a penalty tucked away by David Phillips. But who do our pundits think will come out on top this weekend?
