Stoke City v Swansea City: Will Potters net first win of season?

Bookmark and Share

Stoke v Swansea

This will be the 59th meeting between Stoke City and Swansea City and despite the Potters still searching for their first win of the season Tony Pulis' men start this game as favourites with our panel.

The Potters just shade previous results - 21 wins to Swansea's 19 - and with Crouch and Owen up front, our pundits believe this will be the day they finally pick up their first three points of the campaign.

The Swans made a fabulous start to the season but since the international break they have gone off the boil slightly, failing to score against both Aston Villa and Everton. They also lost 2-0 at the Britannia last season. However, Michael Laudrup will be hoping that their Capital One win over Crawley will get them back to winning ways in the league.

The hosts were unfortunate not to take a point from leaders Chelsea last weekend but it's only a matter of time before they finally register their first win. This weekend could be that time.
