QPR v Everton: Can Hughes avoid the axe by beating the Toffees?

QPR v Everton

Mark Hughes is on dangerous ground. The R's are still waiting for their first league win of the season and Hughes is rumoured to be within games of losing his job. The former Manchester United, Chelsea and Everton striker knows he needs a change of fortunes if he is to remain at Loftus Road, but can he get a break from David Moyes's Everton?

The Toffees are flying high this season and are looking great offensively and defensively. However, they haven't won at Loftus Road for nearly 20 years. Last year the two sides had to settle for a share of the spoils and in 1996 QPR ran out 3-1 winners.

1995 was the last time Everton triumphed at Loftus Road thanks to an injury time winner from Andy Hinchcliffe. It remains their only Premier League win at Loftus Road and their only win since 1987.

However, if Jelavic, Fellaini, Pienaar, Baines, Osman and co are on form, Everton should walk this. But QPR are fighting for their lives. They need points to get off the foot of the table and with the likes of Cesar, Granero and Taarabt, they have their fair share of match winners too, but who will come out on top?
