Spurs v Aston Villa: Can Lambert be a Villain at the Lane again?

Bookmark and Share

Spurs v Villa

Tottenham Hotspur finally shook that monkey off their back at Old Trafford last weekend and they start today as clear favourites against Paul Lambert's Villa, but can the Villains cause a shock at White Hart Lane?

AVB's methods were called into question at the start of the season but he looks to have won over the doubters in north London with the results on the pitch and a win here should see them climb into the top five.

Aston Villa meanwhile have endured a poor start under the former Norwich boss. They are yet to win away from home and have only kept one clean sheet in this campaign. However, Lambert led Norwich to victory at the Lane last season so this could be a tricky game for the home side.

Spurs have won the last two meetings between the two in the capital and Villa haven't triumphed since September 2008. Our pundits can only see one winner.
