Reading v Everton: Can the Royals spit out the Toffees?
Reading entertain high-flying Everton this afternoon still searching for their first league win of the season. On paper it looks like a clear win for the Toffees but their past few meetings suggest their could be a surprise on the cards.
The Royals knocked Everton out of the FA Cup at Goodison Park in 2011 and also beat them at home in the league in 2007. The two sides have only met in the Premier League four times before today and the scores stand at one win for Reading and two for Everton with one draw. However, they have been tight affairs. Only one of their previous six meetings - dating back to 1974 - have ended in a two-goal cushion.
Reading are currently in the bottom three and need to turn their draws into wins. Five of their last six outings have ended all square and it's only a matter of time before they do get a win under their belt.
Unfortunately they are taking on an Everton team that looks as good defensively as it does offensively. Can Reading really trouble the Toffees?
Reading v Everton; Kick Off 3pm November 17 2012
