Norwich City v Man City: Can Hughton give Fergie an early birthday present?

Norwich v Man City

Both Norwich City and Man City go into this game on the back of defeats, but can the champions get their title defence back on track at Carrow Road or will the Canaries give Man United manager sir Alex Ferguson an early birthday present by beating Mancini's men?

The visitors put 11 past Norwich last season as they marched towards the Premier League crown and Roberto Mancini will be keen for his players to put in a similar performance this afternoon as they hope to keep the pressure on the leaders.

The champions haven't lost to Norwich in seven outings. Their last defeat was in August 2001 thanks to goals from Marc Libbra and Paul McVeigh. Since then the men from Manchester have ruled the roost.

After a long unbeaten spell, Chris Hughton's men have now lost two on the spin and the smart money would be on a win for the visitors, but the Canaries have already sent Man United home from East Anglia empty-handed . . . could they do the same to City?

Our pundits have their say.
