Sunderland v Spurs: Can AVB outsmart O'Neill at Stadium of Light?

Bookmark and Share

Sunderland v spurs

Sunderland won their third game in four league outings when they beat the champions Manchester City at the Stadium of Light on Boxing Day. Those crucial three points saw the Black Cats climb to 13th in the table and a late push for Europe isn't out of the question.

This afternoon they take on a Spurs side that will be buoyed by their 4-0 drubbing of Aston Villa at Villa Park. AVB's side are now fourth, level on points with Everton and West Brom, but they have managed just one win at the Stadium of Light in their past seven visits.

Will Martin O'Neill's winning run continue or will AVB leave the north east with all three points? Our pundits think Spurs will achieve something that the champions failed and win at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland v Spurs; Kick Off 12.45pm December 29 2012
