West Ham v QPR: Will Loic Remy be an instant hero for the R's?

Bookmark and Share

Former West Ham United boss Harry Redknapp returns to the Boleyn Ground this weekend with his relegation threatened QPR desperate to take all three points back to west London with them.

The R's haven't left the East End with maximum points since they thrashed the Hammers 4-0 in 1993. But with a potential debut for new signing Loic Remy, could this be the day the visitors rewrite the history books?

West Ham United have won their past two meetings with QPR but they have only managed two wins in their past 12 league and cup games. From challenging for a European place, West Ham are in danger of slipping into the relegation dogfight.

If the Hammers play anything like they did last weekend against Sunderland then they will be in deep trouble. Defeat this weekend could see QPR close the gap to safety and move to within nine points of the Hammers.
