Predict the Premier League: Man City on top with Wigan and Sunderland in close pursuit
Manchester City may have blown their Premier League chances following their defeat at Southampton but City's Callum Rothwell could be about to continue the club's push for honours in our Predict the Premier League competition.
Mr Rothwell, a former winner of this competition, has put his disappointments on the pitch behind him to climb to the top of the table. He is now one point clear of Wigan's Jimmy Shine, who in turn is a point ahead of long-time leader Sunderland fan Tony Ratton. Now this is what you call a title race!
Not forgetting that we have a further three pundits level on 171 points, just eight adrift of the top spot. This title could go right down to the final day.
At the foot of the table, Stoke City's Peter Holland has leapfrogged Tottenham's Adam Crawford but they are both being kept company in the bottom three by Chelsea's Apoorva Ankur.
Here is how the current table look right now.
I will be updating the weekly rundown of fixtures shortly.
