Manchester United v Swansea City: United aim to send Fergie and Scholes out in style

Bookmark and Share

Sir Alex Ferguson and Paul Scholes have both announced that they are to retire at the end of the season and both great servants are going to get a fantastic send off today, but can Swansea City spoil the party?

The Swans fought back twice in midweek to dent Wigan's survival hopes - only their second win since lifting the Capital One Cup. With a wide open space at Old Trafford, Swansea have the players capable of punishing a United side who have had the title in the bag for a fortnight.

Old Trafford will be an emotional setting for Ferguson's 1,499th game in charge of the Red Devils, and one that you can be sure he will want to win. He will send his troops out to make him proud and give the fans a day they will never forget. This could turn out to be a day to forget for Swansea City.

Manchester United v Swansea City; Kick Off 4pm May 12 2013
