West Ham v Newcastle United: Can Big Sam get one over the Mags again?

Bookmark and Share

West Ham v NEwcastle
Newcastle United have been gubbed by their rivals Sunderland and thrashed by Liverpool at home in the past fortnight. You'd think Alan Pardew would be pleased to get out of the north east, but the last place they would want to be heading is London, as the Mags have lost every game in the capital this season.
Former Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce comes face-to-face with former West Ham boss Pardew, and both men have points to prove to their former followers. West Ham United have the added edge though with former Newcastle players Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan now gracing on the famous claret and blue shirts.
West Ham beat Newcastle at St James in October and are on course to complete their first double over their northern neighbours in 14 years. That would be revenge for Newcastle's dominance in this fixture last season.
But will the Hammers pile the pressure on the under-fire Pardew?
