Arsenal: Draxler fee agreed!

Bookmark and Share

According to former Swindon Town star now respected football pundit Jan Aage Fjortoft Arsenal have agreed a fee with Schalke for the talented midfielder Julian Draxler.

The news is all over Twitter this morning and Draxler would be a great signing for the Gunners, but will the German international be linking up with his fellow countrymen Mertesacker, Ozil and Gnabry this month or in the summer? That remains to be seen.

With Arsenal vying for the treble they could really do with him now - some fresh blood would give everyone at the club a huge lift going into the second half of the season - but I believe Schalke may want to bring in a replacement before they let him go.

Draxler would be a great addition to the team though and could go on to be an Arsenal great. The fact that he has been heard to say that he would prefer to choose Arsenal ahead of European champions Bayern Munich speaks volumes.

So Arsenal fans, do you think Wenger can get the deal done?
